Huawei Kong, Chairman at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the newest strategic advisor for the Hashgard Foundation

Hashgard is a public blockchain that establishes a secure distributed asset management protocol. It provides a one-stop blockchain solution with digital asset management system to both individual and institutional investors. Hashgard is the first blockchain project directly initiated and managed by the industry leading investment institution: Fenbushi Capital.

Ever since its inception, Hashgard received strong support from numerous leading figures within the blockchain space. The first group of strategic advisors include:

For the past month Hashgard has announced a second group of strategic advisors, such as Shuo Bai, the former chief engineer of Shanghai Stock Exchange and current Chairman of ChinaLedger.

Today, Hashgard Foundation is honored to publicly announce that Huawei Kong, director of Shanghai Branch of Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has agreed to serve as a strategic advisor of Hashgard.

Membership in the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a lifelong honour given to Chinese scientists who have made significant achievements in various fields. It is the highest academic title in China.

Who is Mr Kong?

Huawei Kong is a member of the China Zhi Gong Party, senior engineer, and Chairman of Shanghai Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He attended Peking University, and earned his degree from the Department of Physics in Zhejiang University.

Mr Kong previously served as Chief Scientist to Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park and was Vice President at Dawning Information Industry Co. Ltd, where he focused on supercomputing and internet computing research. He is Senior Blockchain Consultant for Yibite Technology Co, technology consultant for Canaan.io, and has published numerous academic articles.
