Bibox issue: this is due to competition between exchanges, it is not in our control

What are the testnet performance characteristics?

Testnet: now we have about 5 nodes for testnet, the tps is about 3000.

Why didn’t Hashgard ask the community to help with marketing coverage of the project? Let us know when the main marketing campaign is launched and we will start sharing the info about Hashgard via all available social channels

Marketing coverage: We definitely want to involve our community into marketing promotion. We are going to have more information and materials coming out soon, you are more than welcome to join our global marketing campaign.

According to the WP, GARD tokens owned by strategic partners will be released this month. At which specific date will this happen?

Token release: the token owned by our strategic investors will be unlocked within this month, 14th of Jan.

How much money does Hashgard team have at the moment?

We have raised tens of millions of dollars at the fund-raising stage. Although we did suffer from the market conditions, we still managed to get through the bear market.

We have stable coins, fiat currency and bitcoins

Can you reveal any proving documents for your accounts’ balances?

The account balances would not be disclosed right now, similar to most other projects.

What is an expected number of master nodes for Hashgard mainnet?

We are expecting about 20–30 nodes for main net at the early stage

What are the minimal tech requirements for running a master node?

The tech requirements will be released by the launch time.

This is under consideration at the moment, we will make an announcement at a future date

What will be the commission for the transaction and how it will be calculated?

The transaction fee probably would be a separate token (as a gas)

The reward and the whole economy system is under design. We are working with our strategic advisors from both the industry and academic perspective

As for the Russia page: yes, we are planning to provide a test net page in Russian, and welcome any support and help in this process

Who are main competitors of Hashgard and what the project’s main competitive advantage over them?
Tom Huang, COO and Co-founder of Hashgard:
Right now we don’t have any direct competitors, I can list some competitors our community compares us to: WanChain — Cross chain focused project, also public, difference from us is they are general. Hashgard focuses on digital finance, with the same capabilities as WanChain such as cross chain functionality.

In which year do you see GARD on the CMC in the top 20 coins?

Usually, a project takes 1–2 years to stand out in the CMC, we will spare no effort for that. meanwhile, we believe that Hashgard would become more and more shining in the crypto world with strong support from all of you.

Will Hashgard be a keeper of private keys of funds placed on the platform? That is, will Hashgard act as a custodian? Or will the funds be controlled by users / smart contracts with a management performed by third parties (without direct ownership of private keys)?

No, currently we are not serving as a custodian, it requires license. It would be managed by a third party.
Question 24
Hashgard declares that GARD token is of utility nature. But the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) recognized the DAO tokens as securities. So risks associated with the release of Hashgard tokens have greatly increased. How does Hashgard plan to mitigate them?
Tom Huang, COO and Co-founder of Hashgard:
GARD represents the right to use Hashgard public chain, however, the DAO tokens represents the shares of DAO fund. They are different in the nature.

Does Hashgard have plans to implement something like a decentralized exchange on its platform? Or is it supposed to be done by third parties (on Hashgard’s blockchain)? In your opinion will other exchanges implement support of profit and loss calculations for users operations?

For the exchange and liquidity service, we prefer to let the third parties provide that, let the professional parties determine that aspect

What steps will Hashgard make to attract non professional investors or holders to its ecosystem (to do this participation not limited to trading or long-term holding)?
Tom Huang, COO and Co-founder of Hashgard:
Through our main net economy system, for instance the no professional investors (let’s say the finance institution), they would be required to hold Gard token to use our blockchain system.
At the same time, we are continually expanding our community to attract more members to our community

Will Hashgard operate with crypto assets only or with any type of assets, including not digital ones? Will the asset tokenization functionality be provided by the platform?

We are a digital finance public chain, which is not limited to the crypto assets, we are open minded to try non-digital ones as well. Actually, our digital empowerment platform is currently providing the tokenization functionality.

How are you going to solve assets insurance issues? Is there any plans to cooperate with existing blockchain projects in this area or will Hashgard develop its own solution?

We have done discussions with top insurance companies, we are currently unable to disclose that information, but these partnerships are in the works. We are trying to cooperate with existing blockchain projects, and non-blockchain industries

When GARD tokens will be listed on Binance?
Tom Huang, COO and Co-founder of Hashgard:
Binance has community voting for the listing. We will decide to apply for that when our community is mature. At that time we can fight for this, we do need strong support from our community for the voting.

Does Hashgard platform will natively support other tokens\coins on its platform?
Tom Huang, COO and Co-founder of Hashgard:
On our technology empowerment platform, we will be able to issue the tokens based on other projects. And on the coming mainnet, since we are having the cross chain functionality, we will also be able to support the cooperating tokens on our mainnet.

Are you going to release more detailed roadmap for 2019 with the exact dates specified?

Our roadmap will not be very detailed, our dates are also changing though we will target the main highlighted goals.

Can the trade war between China and USA affect Hashgard’s operations?

Actually, blockchain has no national border, so the trade war does not affect Hashgard operations. There is only one Hashgard on this planet! We don’t take sides.

Will you use private key + “save” key for the Hashgard platform. “Save” key is used to block an old private key \ generate a new one for not to change wallet account when it’s compromised

Since we are using Cosmos as our base for our digital finance public chain, we are using the same cross chain functionality

How the process of transferring to mainnet (tokens swap) will be organized?

The process will be reviewed upon the listing of mainnet, this will be announced when the mainnet is ready to use.
Question 36
Do you have solid agreements with the major companies that’s are going to use Hashgard’s blockchain? Do you have agents who are interested in using Hashgard’s STO solution?

We are negotiating with quite a few companies, but they will only be confirmed after the launch of our mainnet. It still takes time for our clients. We don’t have any signed agreements at the moment. For our STO solutions, we got many collections and requirements for STO. We are now developing out TAMT, which is the STO token standard.

Do you have any plans for implementing zero knowledge proof algorithm?

It is within our internal discussion. Right now is not the right moment to give specific details regarding the plan for this implementation

Do you have any plans to move your business to Malta as Binance did?
Tom Huang, COO and Co-founder of Hashgard:
Actually Malta has issued licenses for crypto exchanges, STO platforms, etc. Once we have business needs then we will consider this

Can you explain what are the benefits for Hashgard for the partnership with CoinNess?

The first one is that CoinNess is the leading international blockchain media. We can benefit the branding and promotion of Hashgard through this partnership.
